Felt pads are great if you can keep them on. I suggest a little dab of tube adhesive to prolong the felt pads life between the chair leg and the pad. Then sit on the chair without sliding it to secure the pad for proper placement. Try not to use the chair for a day or two for drying of the adhesive. Keep your floors dustless as much as you can. Dust is like little tiny sanding grits, they will scratch your finish.
